Did it in 57:40 which isn't that fast, but I usually only run like 5 miles max so I will take it.

How do you run that far and that long non-stop? Don't you run out of breath? Are you guys just really fit? Even NBA players get gassed running back and forth just a few times.

I'm starting to jog really well and also my breath and pacing and longevity are getting better but I jog on and off. I cannot jog for more than a minute.

Just set it on auto-mode - there is a point where you start to feel tired, but its actually just a really long moment of tiredness that goes away should you want it to go away. It really is just a matter of building patience or building up the patience (general strength) to be patient (endurance).

Even those moments when you get a cramp, its just a matter of containing those cramps to where the pain is minimized and its like a tacked on side-quest youre just gonna do on the way to the goal by running through it

You build up endurance over time. I run pretty much every single day.
I really don't breathe hard unless I sprint for an extended period of time, or unless I am running in an actual race.
At the speed of my normal runs (today was slightly slower since it was longer) it is usually my legs getting tired that slow me down.

Not that you asked, but my advice is when first starting to run is either run farther or faster than you did the day before.

Everyone moves at their own pace. As much as I wanna make a snobby comment too about how much better I am at running, that's not helping anybody.

Good job, keep at it. Hardest thing about running is just having the patience to see yourself get better, faster, more efficient.

@Veggeta_MAX you shouldn't be going faster than conversation pace. Eventually your conversation pace will be pretty fast. Even world class runners do 90% of their training at conversation pace, the "out of breath" montages are their twice a week dedicated workout just for TV. Most people don't want to put in the time to run enough easy miles to get good so they stagnate

Imagine a laser going straight in the direction youre headed and you have to match up the lowest bone in your spine/top of your hips with the laser height all throughout. You Google image search running and you see all these pictures where they look like theyre flying, taking high leaps with every step. Dont do that, too much weight flopping around and coming down on you. Youre running, weight is going to constantly go up and crash down repeatedly, your aim is to minimize that on injury prone areas, like hips, knees, and ankles. The word is efficiency, doing the most while minimizing movement. You might hear about girls in track running with their hair in ponytails, and the tail is barely moving. Try to be that still and composed, and sway your hips smoothly left and right, in and out. Hips should feel like youre dancing. Running form comes before anything else.

I do 3 minutes run, then 2 minutes walk, moving that up to 3:30 run and 1:30 walk later on and I do that for 20 min. I want to eventually jog instead of run and also extend it to 30 min.

Last time I ran I ended up at just under 2 miles. I have no idea how people are able to run so far so fast lol. I just start running again seriously about three weeks ago.
Just jog, no matter how slow youre getting, and youll speed up over time. Running isnt one of those exercises where you work out in short bursts, take a break, then burst again. Just jog, then jog slower when you get tired, but never walk. Thats just gonna throw off your form CONSTANTLY and disengage whatever you were exercising while running. Everyone starts slow, its a marathon not a bunch of sprints in a day.

@Drpooplol when most people run they allow their hip to collapse outward, to the side you're pushing with, as you take a stride. It should be the opposite -- this will allow a very powerful stride without trying any harder

So right foot forward, hip opens to the left? Edit: wait no, that's what you said is wrong. but idk how to do hips to the right when left leg is pushing.
