I realized someone said that I am my own favorite subject and I thought to myself, I mean yeah that's true outside of my kid and my partner and I like to meme things that will die in a day but maybe this one won't (it will)

Other people usually have another person to socialize with, but really I carry on by myself a good deal of the time anyway.

Playing Xenoblade for the Switch, I played through most of it on the Wii and know the story due to Mercs @KamikazePotato you were right Shulk is so busted, just reminding you of that. It is pretty fun, soundtrack is super good I had kind of forgotten that. I am currently finishing up the Leg portion and heading up and up for those who know a thing or two.

I am currently selling a Charizard pokemon card for what I used to call "two week's pay." Pokemon cards as a business is dumb and also the best thing ever for my future money wise.

I am happy that I just listen to internet radio, trying to maintain a musical library would be brutal for me as my moods shift wildly in terms of what I enjoy. A man should not go from Queen to Metallica to Taylor Swift to instrumental video game tracks that quickly.

Today after work the plan is more Xenoblade, not sure if the partner wants another go at mario party she didn't enjoy losing to the NPCs last time.

Pandora has always worked good for me, you just have to spend a little bit of time upvoting and downvoting appropriately. I have used it for about ten years or so now and my stations basically only play things I like.

Spotify Premium + Hulu bundle is all the entertainment I need.

I have youtube premium and whatever pandora service that let's me play songs on repeat.

It's like a few bucks a month for less hassle, easy money spent.

I was sick last year and unable to do traditional work, one day we were in target and I was like "oh man, Pokemon stuff" and then my brain got turning about how I could make money from this if my illness was longer term, and then we started hunting down deals and went from there.

Neato! I used to make tons of money flipping cards... in NBA 2K MyTeam, so I always thought it would be sweet if I could make actual money like that (obviously very different than real life but still the concept is cool to me)

Yeah, when they found the right medicine for me this year I was able to return to work as well as do the Pokemon card business, which has been working really well since! I feel much, much better than I did this time last year and it really helped that I had such a supportive partner to help me through the medical stuff, talk about trial by fire.

Today's work will be done in a couple of hours, currently listening to a Taylor Swift Pandora station. Hoping to get more Xenoblade in and also hoping to be invited to the WoW beta, no interest in playing current content but I am excited for shadowlands.

Got a tiny bit of Xenoblade in yestrerday, but not much as I wasn't feeling that great so I just slept it off.

Had a weird dream about my mom teaching a class and I was there observing. My mom wasn't a teacher, so I don't get it.

Only three weeks until I get my 300 card package from CGC back, I am pretty excited.

My brother and I have a small trove in our parents's house. Back in 2002/03, I gave away his Blastoise and Gyarados to my high school history teacher in exchange for extra credit (couldn't risk getting a B), and my brother took it as a top ten anime betrayal. For years, he had 148/150, with my treachery keeping him from a complete original set.

About twelve years later, on the day of his pharmacy school graduation, I surprised him with a Blastoise and Gyarados in a graduation card. Combined, they cost less than $25, but the childlike joy on his face was priceless. I was redeemed.

But yeah, we have at least one Charizard, but I'd never think of selling unless the money was truly obscene.

this absolutely is top ten anime betrayals, but it's hilarious that not only did you bribe your teacher for grades, but he took payment in pokemon cards

Apparently his daughter was really pestering him for those two. And yeah, I thought it was a joke at first, but he was being 100% serious. To make things (ie: me) look even lamer, I wound up not even needing that extra credit for the A.

So I have put Xenoblade aside for now (Not in an RPG mood, which is a rarity) and picked up Okami for the PS4 to play while my partner watches as she likes pretty games. Her mind is kind of blown at the art style, which I view as very wholesome.

Work is going well, I am a full on political speech writer it seems and everyone just shrugs and goes 'Works for us.' So hey, that's neat.

Still waiting patiently for my cards to return from grading so I can cackle evilly about that.

My son is super wholesome lately. He was whining about wanting a cookie and I did my 'dad voice' about whining and suddenly he was like "want the dad" lol. He's learning to manipulate me :(. I fall for it every time and give hugs.
