I feel like will he eventually become playable someday, maybe not in ultimate as DLC because he's an assist trophy but when the next Nintendo system comes out and new Smash is made, Nintendo doesn't have many big first/second party characters left to highlight a new game so I'd be surprised if Issac misses the boat again.
