^I believe that's the whole reason for the title
But yeah, even in a series that is often about suspense and character drama more than combat, it doesn't fit very well. You have some fights but it's mostly story buildup for essentially a monster of the week. It's also about Trunks and resolved singlehandedly (heh) by Goku.

I watched Android 13 and Bojack for the first time like a few years ago, Bojack was great

I haven't seen the OTHER broly movies. I watched the first one and the cooler ones. Obviously watched the first 3 all of the time

Weaponizing the actual SUMMONING of the dragon was pretty damn great, but a pretty meh movie overall

its a retelling of the dragonball first arc but...with Mary Sue I guess

that DBZ movie was indeed the origin of the punch

I had to look it up because I actually thought it originated somewhere else, but nope

he indeed pulls it out of his ass with no foreshadowing or even mention of it and he kills the big bad

and Goku barely had anything to do with the plot

He LITERALLY tells Trunks to stop fighting so he can kill steal. "HES MINE"

for no real reason either

Super is basically south park's member berries, but limited to dragonball things. Some of the nods are amazingly comedic and work well, while others are a bit tiresome. Beerus and Whis are great cast additions too. The food joke gets a bit stale after a while, but the minor gags like seeing Beerus break a table with his head by bowing so forcefully in respect to the omni-king are comedic gold.

so

Zamasu kills Gomasu, takes the time ring, and uses the SUPER Dragonballs to switch bodies with Goku. Gowasu established that next to the time ring, there are other distorted ones that imply different branches in time because someone fucked up. One of them being Trunks' timeline

we established years ago that Trunks' time is now an alternate reality, he helped OUR reality, but it did nothing for his. And for claification, Trunks' Universe is NOT one of the established 12 universes

so Zamasu, now black, goes to Trunk's timeline and does the same shit again and becomes his own gay lover

So this all only got prevented from happening in the present is because Goku and them went to Trunk's reality, which is the future too, and saw this and reported it to Beerus where he stepped in

They stopped it in their own timeline, but because Trunks' timeline is its own pocket universe, it didn't change anything there, like with the androids. Also because the time ring protected Black...or something

right?
