Fighting for every breath, being on a ventilator, and being all feverish and half delusional was super shitty, and it was made far worse by the fact that I couldn't see my family. I woke up coughing more than usual (I still do a lot of dabs you see), but with no fever or anything else. I guess I maybe had a reduced sense of taste and smell like they say you should, but it wasn't something I specifically noticed. When the fever came on I did notice right away and ran my ass over to swedish hospital. Breathing got harder and harder, that was all i really remember. It was scary as fuck. Shit was all very surreal at the hospital, like everyone there, patients and staff, were fake laughing it off as if we weren't all terrified we were bout to die, but it was so obviously fake. I tested negative for the virus on saturday, and I've been feeling progressively better since then. My throat still feels torn the fuck up, but I probably could have come off of the ventilator sooner. I guess I understand why they didnt want to risk it. Let me just say this to anyone wondering whether they should seek treatment if they have symptoms, fuck yes you should. I was immunocompromised, and because I went in immediately i was pretty much recovered in less than two weeks as opposed to expected 3 to 6 for someone in my state. This is probably not something you should try to treat at home with sprite, chicken noodle soup, and dayquil is all I'm saying. --- I am your shepherd cloaked in obscenity.
