I have 15.9/16 GB used, and I need to free up space. Looking in settings, it says almost half of that space is used on iCloud Drive. Clicking on iCloud Drive, it says "your most recently accessed files are downloaded to this device for quick access. The original files remain safely stored in iCloud."
I have no idea what files are downloaded from iCloud. How can I find and delete them on my phone? --- Not changing this sig until I decide to change this sig. Started: July 6, 2005 ... Copied to Clipboard!

The problem is you don't have an Android.

Login and delete stuff you don't want stored. I checked it, but there's nothing that could be that large a file.

pretty much everything is on your icloud.
