He's made a lot of comments saying it's nothing to worry about and already contained, which is clearly false. More comments about how he's a genius and experts are impressed by his knowledge about it, and so on.
In a normal world, those comments would hurt him as they would foster mistrust and resentment in a leader who clearly tries to lie about or be dismissive of the patently untrue, but as we know that hasn't stopped him thus far. --- CE's Resident Scotsman. https://imgur.com/ILz2ZbV ... It will hurt him in the sense that it has negatively impacted the economy, which is Trumps proudest accomplishment.

The sad truth is: when the disease eventually passes, like all these pandemics do, because the world isn't literally devolved into Mad Max, his supporters will interpret his incompetence as entirely justified prudence. >_>

Probably help. When this blows over his supporters will cheer "See, he was right! Everything's fine! Libs are just scared babies, MAGA."
