Anyone ever play this? It looks super atmospheric and I'm very intrigued.

Yeah I've played it! It's very atmospheric like you said, it draws heavily from Lovecraft especially with elder Gods & themes of hopelessness and despair. I will say sometimes gameplay can be very tedious, I doubt I would've finished it if it wasn't horror-focused to be perfectly honest! The map can especially feel like a rats maze sometimes. As far as horror RPGs go I still prefer Sweet Home.
I am glad to hear the translation got improved, back when I first played it the translation was still very rough. Sounds like it's perfect now. I've only played the original version for a short while since I don't even think that has a translation at all but I haven't looked in ages. Besides it seems kind of irrelevant anyway. --- Too much horror business, drivin' late at night https://imgur.com/MmrKwGZ - https://imgur.com/ntWVGyh ... Copied to Clipboard!

I was actually thinking about ordering a translated cart for Sweet Home. Seems like a nice way to round out my NES collection

That would be pretty awesome! I'd love to own one myself.
