First I don't think any students should ever have to change in front of other students of any gender, and it should always have been that way.

Second they usually have bathroom stalls in the locker rooms, so you could change in there if you wanted.

Finally you can identify as whatever gender you want, but for bathroom usage etc, it should be based on genetalia, If you have male genitals, you use a gender neutral or male bathroom and visa versa.

Your right to identify as whatever gender does not superceed others rights to not have to undress or use a restroom with someone who has the opposite genitals as you.
