Yeah, I saw the movie but know literally nothing else, I watched and really liked the first episode of Watchmen and pretty much followed everything that was going on except for ~~the raining squid~~. Here you have this gritty, realistic portrayal of superheroes with the heroes just being costumed vigilantes. Any sci-fi stuff was restricted only to Dr. Manhattan, but the world was real, the themes were real, the people were real. Then surprise, giant alien squid.
