It was the Summer of 2014. We read Storm Front by Jim Butcher, the first book in the Dresden Files series. It was a lot of fun! We were supposed to read Live. Die. Repeat. for our second book (since that's what was voted on, narrowly beating the option to read through the Dresden Files series) but then nobody posted in the discussion topics so the threads were shuttered.

I would just talk with myself!

I'm still only halfway through the series :( I need to catch up before the new one comes out.

I didn't take part in it, but I remember the topics.

I remember watching the pipi longstocking movie. The what should I do today song was stuck in my head for days after.

Even if it was basically just three topics, one of "hey we should do this", one of "hey I'm doing it, are you" and one of "well that was fun".

I'd be down for doing this! Can we recommend some books? I tend to read mostly non-fiction, so I won't make suggestions unless I see others on board with this, too.

Teachers used to get pissed at me for saying "Fiction is video game time wasted." But I still love fiction.
