so my bracket this year fucking sucked. i made a lot of shitty picks, i had modern characters winning matches even though they never do, and i tried a few rally picks and they never happened.

so for pretty much the entire main bracket, i was down at around the 50th percentile.

then the finals bracket happens, and i still get a ton of shit wrong. i have points for link and cloud winning, but besides that i had stupid stuff like geralt being here and winning multiple times, snake making finals, and i didn't even have zelda anywhere. besides getting link and cloud winning everything right, the only things i did right was call crono and bowswer's paths correctly.

and yet now i end with 433 points which is 87th percentile?

how does this happen? people were clearly way better than me, and even in finals bracket i still fucked up just as much as the rest, but people got worse there somehow?

but wouldn't most people? like all i did was have the noble nine win every watch they were in with almost no exceptions and then have link/cloud get to the end. but even then my bracket is still a minefield of yellow/red slots. and this is the easiest part to predict.

Not true. For example Link. We all knew that he would win. Yet only 35% of people had him winning the whole thing.

i guess so.

i guess maybe the majority who were ahead of me in the main bracket were ahead of me because my picks were almost worse than flipping a coin. but then at the end i'm still knowledgable enough to know who the noble nine are and why link/cloud will beat everyone, and apparently 65% of people don't

Also most people had either Snake or Mario reaching the final match.

right i had snake reaching the final match too. i had cloud beating everyone but link and snake. i fucked up. but i guess others fucked up more

The only thing I regret is that I took Kirby over Bowser because I heard the board on that one. If I had taken Bowser I would have finished in the leaderboard for the first time ever too!
