Why is it a mess? The beta was a little rough around the edges but that's every Battlefield beta ever.

I believe it's only available for a 10 hour "trial" if you bought the game and have EA Access, but generally it takes about a year for games to go into "the vault" for non-premier members.

The beta was a slog and was just simply not fun to play. Rush is delayed. Battle royale is delayed. Nobody ever runs ammo or health so it's like playing with CoD loadouts. Too much going on with the HUD.

That being said, it will still probably be better than Black Ops 4. EA Access is apparently uploading new games as they come out to compete with Xbox Game Pass.

Well they did fix the issue with spawning with less health and ammo than max so at least you have that. And I still saw people dropping health and ammo in the beta.

I don't remember the HUD itself, but I did have issue with the minimap icons >_>.

Everytime you unlock something or level up there's an orgasm of colors on your top screen that I can imagine would give me a hard time in a battle.

Snow map was too big, but the bullrush mode was decent

City map was ok, nothing mode blowing

I liked the gunplay a lot though, and the stories on the maps :| Guess I'm in the minority here.

Eh, the only part of BF5's intro that made me tense was the last stand with the pistol. Battlefield 1 telling you that you're gonna die made me even more stressed going through it lol

I like how the first War Story has a relatively goofy main character. Wonder if the rest of the War Stories are gonna be dark and serious in comparison.

I haven't tried war stories yet just sucked at a few rounds online. Trying to do the assignments but I can't do even the basic ones without leveling up the classes a little bit which is lame.

I love those V-1/JB-2 rockets holy shit. My squad leader just got like 12 kills because these two tanks were bunched together and everyone was spawning around the tanks.

Just played all day, game crashed trying to switch seats on a half track.

I was starting to suck anyway I don't know. The brightness is not consistent between maps so like on this one map if you're outside it will get bright as shit but then you can't see into the interiors of buildings and stuff so you're basically hosed if someone's camping there.

Also some of the assignments are annoying because they require you to do things on specific maps but there are no 24/7 map options -_-

Oh shit landmines don't despawn five seconds after you die. I went through a few lives and then got a message that I killed people and I was like wtf.

lmao there's a glitch where this bomb didn't spawn but the game thinks it is in play and we have 0 tickets and the clock is at 0 but the game can't end because it's "the last chance to plant the bomb". And the music keeps building up and building up, it's that "5 seconds left on the clock and shit is gettin' real" type of music.

Just did the first war story, will have to replay it for some of the challenges (you get a medal for 100% a war story and unlock a melee weapon).

It was actually pretty good, didn't feel too different from a BF1 war story though I liked that the second level lets you raid an airfield to steal a plane to blow up your objectives >_>.

Besides that, it was pretty short. I think I just did it in about an hour and a half. And so far there are only three.

Playing Grand Operations, shit is kinda broken. The attacking team starts in 3 planes with a 12 player capacity each, and the defenders have OP AA turrets... half the time I get shot down before the game even lets me jump out of the plane >_>

Did they fix the balancing on the fighter planes? In the alpha both the Spitfire and Bf-109 were way too slow, then in the beta the Bf-109 alone got buffed so it was literally impossible to win as the British.
