N64 Classic Games List

We do not have a complete list of games yet, however in the same leak we did receive some tips on games that will feature. It will include rare games and have 30 games overall with 5 names stated:

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Super Mario 64
The Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask
Puyo Puyo Sun 64 (But may not be on all versions, could be just JP)
Banjo-Kazooie
At least 25 more games.

as a puzzle game player this one excites me the most

It's honestly the only reason I keep my 3ds but I hate what they did in the remake.

either it will be shown at the end of the Super SmashBros Direct on November 1st, 2018 or it will be shown in a separate Direct later in the month of November.

Like US might have some games Japan doesn''t, Japan has some games US doesn't.

So 30 games, but US, EU and Japan might have 5 exclusive games each or something?

A lot of stupid as fuck changes to the bosses, among all the other little changes that didn't need to be made.

I also hate how the moon looks.

If it has F-Zero X, they ought to do something similar to what the SNES Mini did and bundle the DD-only Expansion Kit and let Americans have a crack at it for the first time.

Why not F-Zero X?

GoldenEye has zero chance, iconic as it is. That's the problem with licensed games (same issue THPS has with the PS Classic; almost mandatory game but can't be included). Perfect Dark maybe but it basically hinges on Banjo-Kazooie (see below).

JFG is a Rareware game. Only if Banjo-Kazooie is in does it even have a chance (game controls like ass on the Xbox One, by the way; replacing C buttons with an analog stick does NOT work well).

Eternal Darkness never came out on N64. It started as an N64 game but like Resident Evil 0 was moved to the GameCube due to protracted development time and evolving technology.

There are lots of good N64 racing games that won't make the cut (Beetle Adventure Racing, Rush 2: Extreme Racing USA, Crusn' USA...California Speed).

The N64 was a goldmine of great racing games. One of my favorite aspects of the console.

So yeah then F-Zero and Pokemon Puzzle League would probably replace those two. I stand firm that Goldeneye WILL be on the classic console. Or at the very least Perfect Dark.

I would say Donkey Kong 64 and/or Diddy Kong Racing will end up being Rare's sole legacy on the console.

Yeah

Banjo and Perfect Dark are still considered major MS IPs even though they do fuck all with them.

MS will stop Goldeneye if it is in their power because Nintendo stopped the Goldeneye remaster in Xbox live arcade

However there might be a loophole since it was a license so Nintendo may have the power to release it if Eon gives them the okay.

Changed it from an intolerable pile of ass to an intolerable pile of ass with some minor qol improvements.

So I watched the whole thing and some of the changes I agree with and can see why its frustrating and almost game breaking such as the deku hopping between pads. However over half of that video was just silly complaints such as the bomber kids and the swimming.

It does exist still on their previous hardware. Its also a possibility that the online service will eventually incorporate those games
