If you don't like her or think she can beat Trump, then surely she would lose the primary right?

Or is it believed she would auto win the primary if she does?

DWS isn't the chairman anymore though.

Lefty here: I don't think Hillary will run, because no one is that much of a masochist. I don't think she would win if she did, owing to increased competition and a re-examination of her famed "electability." She might get some steam from a few die hards off the idea that she was illegitimately denied by Russia in 2016, but I think on the whole Democrats are ready to throw their support behind fresher candidates.

But her very presence in the primaries, even in a losing effort, would be fucking toxic and I dread even the fraction of a possibility.

But why do they fear the idea of her running again?

i feel like that's a faulty premise because by and large they dont expect her to run again

so why would they fear it

There are rumors about it since 2016 even from leftist sources.

No one knows what will happen...not even her. She can change her mind.

But even the mention of the possibility sets leftists into a frenzy.
For ex, you would rather post off topic than answer the question. You would rather prove something you cannot prove, that she won't run again, than face the question of why you don't want her to.

So the premise is very valid.

Because she's a part of the Washington DC establishment. All those top politicians on both sides are all friends. It's why you see the Obamas hanging out with the Bushes and the like. They all are in it together to make money. I just can not believe her when she talks about more leftist kind of talk/promises.

Still better than Trump or any Republican. It's very sad that these were/are our choices.

Yeah, I don't think I'd go far as to say "dread", but I do think that her presence would not be good, even if it's not anything she does.

I mean, yeah I'm not really worried that she would win, but bad candidates for any number of reasons can sidetrack or bring down a primary season. Like imagine Trump didn't win the primary. He still would have completely wrecked the primaries, and in the process maybe ensures that not the best Republican candidate of what was left got the nomination. Or Dems will have to respond to what Hillary is saying rather than building their own media awareness, etc.
