Their main barometer of success is the ability for a new android phone release to kill the iPhone, which is why you often hear them refer to new android phones as iPhone killers. On the flip side if someone makes a topic espousing their enjoyment of an android phone not one Apple user stops in to make deriding comments about it. When was the last time an Apple user gauged the success of their phone because it was a Pixel killer/Note killer/Razer killer? They dont because theyre already using the main measure of success in the smartphone market. Apple already made it. The iPhone is already the status quo, even if people hate it. Its pathetic.
