A lot of us identified with Gohan as kids. We loved watching Goku and the gang fight bad guys, but for many of us there was that bit of self doubt that every kid goes through. Seeing Gohan confront his own weakness and fear hit so deep for me. It gave me so much courage, confidence, and hope.
