I'd heard of it a long time ago but never watched it. Then the other day I was reminded of it and looked it up on YouTube.

At first I thought it was pretty bad, but it seems to be getting better the more I watch of it. Maybe I should take that as a sign to stop.

I remember it somewhat. Best thing I remember was there was someone obsessed with peanut butter.

Yeah, when I was really young. I don't remember much of it now, except some of the ending when she was trying to make a picnic.

- "Spicy, salty, sour, sweet; bring us something good to eat! I did iiiit! Picnic time, everybody!"

- "Food!? Where!?"

- "Aaaaaat..."

Eureka's Castle!

Geez; a lot of kids' shows I used to watch I don't remember anything about except the opening or ending. I still somehow remember all the lyrics from the ending of David the Gnome. I don't recall much about Maya the Bee except that I recently discovered that it was actually anime.

I had younger relatives, so I probably saw an episode or two. I definitely remember the sound of the jingle. Also, never realized that it was spelled with two "e"s.

tbh, haven't seen an episode (and those puppets are fucking creepy), but the fast-paced, stupidly repetitive songs seem catchy.

That's actually what reminded me of the show; I was looking at R. L. Stine's Wikipedia page and saw a mention of it. That reminded me that I'd once seen an ad for Eureeka's Castle toys; I think it was this one:

The big thing I remembered was the dragon being named Magellan, which seemed like such a weird name. Did he do a lot of exploring on the show?

As far as I can remember, it was your typical, run of the mill, low budget, preschool puppet show, that takes place in a castle that was a wind-up musical toy owned by a giant. And it frequently had celebrities singing as the first part, and cuts to either British animation or to real life footage, which may or may not involve children.

And I watched a few videos of it due to this topic, and it seems like it was more or less the premise. The characters never left the castle. And no, the dragon was nothing more than a toddler that can talk like a 6 year old, and blamed his tail on everything. Which the voice actor later did Bear in Bear in the Big Blue House, which is more or less the total antithesis of Magellan ( with Bear being the "adult", and being the responsible one who never got himself into trouble), which is why they have the same exact voice.

And that is all I care about for a television show made for 5 year olds (and you should at least watch something a little more age appropriate, like 30 year old Sesame Street skits, since Jim Henson wanted to amuse the parents as well to get them to watch too).

That has meme potential.

Go to 4chan and post that stupid thing, and bring this obscure kiddy show back into the spotlight.

tbh, I remember when Pizza Hut was doing a promo where they gave away X-Men comics. Kinda wonder when they stopped doing promo items to entice kids to eat there?

Also I could seriously go for Pizza Hut but my area doesn't have any locations.
