Board 8 > E3 2018 - EA's Press Conference (2:00 PM EST / 11:00 AM PST)

E3 officially kicks off with EA going first again like they've done for the past few years. I don't expect too much hype for EA given the Battlefront loot box controversy last year and EA's focus on sports games. Even if you're not hyped for EA, let's all get hyped up for E3 in general.

The first E3 press conferences has always taken place before the show floor is open to those attending E3.

Well this is the unofficial.start since it isn't technically an E3 event, but close enough.

Can't say I'm hyped, EA have put on a bad show every year since at least 2014. I'll tell you what this show will be: sports, some influencers playing Battlefield, a brief look at an inevitably disappointing Bioware game, "We still have Star Wars!", a token indie and maybe one other game. Who knows, maybe we'll be surprised.

I like the style of Sea of Solitude. Wish we'd seen a tad more about what you like. actually do in the game. Looks like some platforming but I'm sure there's more.

I actually thought there was no way the game was going to fit the story she was telling about it but I think it kinda did, especially as well as it could for having like no dialogue.

Sports are a given every single year at EA's press conference, since they own gaming franchises for football, soccer, hockey, and basketball.

If they made sports more exciting/crazy like the Tiger Woods game from South Park Id be all over them. Also maybe if anybody ever made an AAA dodge ball game. That sport gets no love :(
