Um... but isn't that happening because he's NOT getting LBGT rights?

If that's the ftm transgender being forced to compete in the girl's division despite wanting to compete in the male division that I remember that is.

Transgenders competing in sports is a pretty fucking niche topic, not exactly like lgbt having the right to non discrimination in everyday life or being able to marry. Not sure why youre trying to equate the two.

I think they are smarter than that honestly. I think it's a way to not "give in" to the trans-movement. Plus the guy is getting booed for wrestling against the girls (because people are stupid and don't look into the issue).

And now they can be like "See!! This is what will happen when we give into the trans-agenda! Boys pretending to be girls and dominating the competition!"

I would think cheaters who use banned substances would be unfairly dominating the competition, yes.

Can you please cite the Texas Athletic Rule Book and its list of banned substances? And also give me the substances the guy is taking and see if they match?

The fucking Texas Athletic Commission doesn't think he is cheating or else they wouldn't have let him wrestle in the first fucking place. And they forced him into competing in the girls only tournament when he wanted to wrestle in the guys' tournament.

So....how is he cheating when is simply following the Commission's decision kanjo? Because it's easily the most convoluted cheating story I've ever heard of.

The type of testosterone used for doping is different from the kind he's on for transitioning

And the reasons he's not giving up wrestling are basically
1) to point out the injustice and ass-backwards policy
2) because if he stops then the bad guys win outright, and that doesn't bode well for future trans athletes
3) any chance of wrestling in college or scholarships would be forever lost if he stopped wrestling in high school

It's hardly cheating to literally follow the unjust rules. It's the bigots who want to remove trans people from sports entirely who created this mess and the people booing should instead be trying to help get the policy overturned. Instead they're going off on the guy who is the biggest victim of all.

Medically prescribed, that's the key difference. Same reason people who use prescribed inhalers (a form of steroid) can compete.

i dont know the specifics of what treatment is used, but if its banned in either mens or womens leagues normally, they shouldn't make exceptions for a transgendered person either

So you're okay with trans girls (women) competing against men, cis and trans?

Just throwing this out there but there's also zero chance there'd be funding for such thing as a trans-only league in most parts of the US. That would still result in trans people not being able to compete, which is unacceptable.

And the exception is made for medical purposes, it's always the exception to these types of restrictions on substances.

they still have far more testosterone, different bone and muscle structure etc than a natural female. it would be unfair to place them in the womens leagues

I don't mean to sound like an asshole but maybe transgenders shouldn't be allowed to compete since sports is divided into men and women leagues for good reason. It's unfair to everyone else. Everyone else shouldn't have to tolerate it. Give them their own league where they can duke it out
