Board 8 > Best "apocalypse" movies?

iiicon 01/10/18 2:06:39 PM #3:	Children of Men and Mad Max: Fury Road are two of the best modern post-apocalyptic movies. Dredd is a good movie and somewhat overlooked. It's more of an action movie where the post-apocalypse is just window dressing to set-up the oppressive police state. It also works as a companion to The Raid (which is not a post-apocalyptic movie but is worth watching). I thought The Road was interesting but it's a hard watch and even a harder recommendation because the book is much better. 28 Days Later is a great watch if you're not tired of zombies. --- ICON: Well! I also liked Doomsday, although it was pretty flawed. I might go back and watch that, I've had 28 Days Later waiting for me to watch it, and now I'll add Children of Men. Waterworld certainly sounds like it would be made for me --- Let the past die.
