I've seen this for a few different things. I know there's like a Mass Effect one. You buy a box and get a random character.

I guess there's nothing stopping you from taking a peak before you buy it? lol

Yeah basically, sure you pay the original Amiibo price, but you have a small chance of getting one worth more than the standard Amiibo price.

Or be the super scumbag and put the price somewhere in the middle and make the chance of getting the good ones less than 50%

(both people get what they want and go home happy)

"I got this rare sniper rifle in a supply drop, but I suck at sniping. I can't use it, trade it, or anything. I'm stuck with it."
"Oh man, I wish I pulled that. All I got was this SMG, but I don't like to run and gun."
"Damn, I wish we could trade our supply drop weapons, then both of us would be happy."

(both people are sad and jealous of the other even though neither one got what they want)
