Board 8 > American Horror Story: Cult was horrible. (Spoilers?)

Why did I try to give this show another shot? The writers for this show are just awful. Words can't describe. But I hate every single one of these characters, and when they keep doing these ridiculous double turns and crap and they try to act like they're so god damn smart. It's not smart. It's shitty writing.

And they just constantly go off the rails of the original premise of the season. "Oh hey, a creepy clown cult. That's fun!" "Oh, it's about man vs woman now... and no clowns. Okay." "And now a bunch of dumb nonsense is going on now." And then by the time you get to the finale you're just like... what the hell am I even watching anymore? Can we not make a social commentary show with horrendous dialogue that bashes you in the face with their point on the off chance that you somehow don't understand what they're trying to get across.

The show isn't fun when it's a convoluted mess with tons of storylines that go absolutely nowhere and disappear when they're done with it! Make a cohesive story! Damn.

Oh, and that final scene is just horrible and dumb.

Now that they absolutely butchered the cult idea, what is going to be the theme of the next season they'll screw up?

This season's storyline was pretty straight-forward. It's not like Hotel where all the characters had their own storylines pingponging around one another.

I definitely agree, that was probably their most botched finale easily and that's saying a lot. The main characters turned into near cardboard cut-outs and thankfully for Ally, Kai the super-genius planner and observer didn't realize his gun felt a little light there. And I got pretty sick of near every character having been involved in some kind of underhanded plan to explain everything away so it makes sense.
