I like it, but it can be pretty silly at times.

No it is not .

They took the issues that they had with bad writing in the last seasons; and now makes those illogical actions just a part of who the team is. Oh for reason you let the bad guy get away..oh that is just the lovable losers team we have.

The first season is crap, the second season was probably the best DC show of that season.

The only reason I bother watching it sometimes is because of how much I like Purcell's character

True.

It's a dumb, fun show.

is it even worth getting into the arrowverse of shows if you're not following everything and from the beginning?

marvel/netflix is different since they usually have an endgame and the individual shows are pretty short, tight and focused with no real fillers to drag the show out even if not all of them were well-received.

in comparison arrow has 140 episodes so far, flash with 92, and LoT with 50... on top of that there's supergirl/something called vixen/constantine.

again i don't know how connected each entry is within the universe but goddamn that's a LOT to get through with seemingly no end in sight.

It has this weird self-awareness to it now. It doesn't care about being serious. You're watching a dysfunctional team of idiots getting themselves into stupid situations throughout time.

This is what I was wondering too.. watched a few episodes of Arrow wayyyyyyyy back in 2013, but is it too late to catch up all this?

Arrow, Flash and Legends of Tomorrow are the most connected and are set in the same universe. Legends of Tomorrow basically takes characters from Arrow and Flash and sends them on an adventure.

Supergirl is set in a different universe. But Flash eventually travels to her dimension. Since then there's the odd crossover where they jump into each others universe.

Constantine isn't really a part of it. After that show was cancelled he had a cameo in Arrow.

I think they were bringing him to Legends this season.
