In Sunset Riders, if you defeat Greco with Cormano, Cormano actually takes his hat and keeps it for the rest of the game

I dunno how I didn't know this, I played me lots of Sunset Riders back in the day. I think I would alternate between Billy and Cormano and probably never beat this guy with Cormano present

Contra - the Konami code. Played this game a lot in my childhood, had no idea such a thing existed until the internet. I knew lots of random NES game cheats too (like using the 2nd controller to give you huge jumps and potentially infinite health in Mega Man 3), but not that one for some reason, and it's often considered the most iconic.

All the bonus scenes in RE4, like scoring another encounter with Mendez and getting an early bird Ada cameo, investigating the crash site of your two police buddies at the beginning, triggering an extra Salvador in the first village fight, going back to the other side of the river after Del Lago and encountering Colmillos, and just a whole bunch of awesome easter egg/finer detail things.

I played Kana: Little Sister long before I knew anything about visual novels and I only discovered years later there were multiple routes I could've replayed for. Now that just seems so obvious/standard but back then, nope!
