I think this movie will be the ultimate test for me of whether the Groundhog's Day theme can ever not be good.

I mean, when I heard about this movie I was like "This is the dumbest thing."
And then I saw the trailer and I went "This is the dumbest AND the most amazing thing." And for whoever said the lead is unlikable, apparently that's why there's a list of people who would want to kill her. Really? I found her more endearing the more we realize what a hell she is in dying day after day. Like, in the trailer alone she dies a dozen times and then she gets caught the last time and is just like, resigned to her death like "Well, I guess this is just going to happen again." And throughout the trailer as time goes on, she gets even more charming and laid back about the whole ordeal with the streaking, playfully pointing to the things that happen each morning.
Like, I feel like this movie is actually going to do a lot right because of how self aware it is.
