He was his much older brother who was LIKE a father to him because their parents were dead (?) and Mario raised him, but he was not actually his father. He also may not have been his actual brother, I think he was maybe adopted or something? --- SuperNiceDog didn't have to reconcile his name... The thing is They had some pretty awesome concept art for the main villain that actually referenced Bowser's design. And then they went with none of that. That movie was a disappointment even as a child. (Though I will say I kinda enjoyed it in spite of the disappointment) --- Everyone's best is different. But the whole scene was a total mess, you could barely see it and it lasts for like 2 seconds, so I never realized it until I saw an article that mentioned it 20 years later. --- SuperNiceDog didn't have to reconcile his name...
