It's really funny (sad?) to see the discrepancy between Japan and North America when it comes to consoles vs. handhelds. You look at Media Create's numbers and the 3DS routinely takes up like half the Top 20, and then you see this and the top selling 3DS game of the month (Mario Sports Superstar btw) doesn't even crack the list.

Handhelds in the West still do much, much better than PC games in Japan.

Persona got to number one in the UK for it's first week.I think the only reason it dropped off the second week is because literally every copy had been sold.It's still in really short supply to this day.Guess they didn't realise how much hype was behind it.

Unfortunately persona is getting too big for a small publisher like atlus. They've never had to distribute this many copies of a game in such short time span
