A poll made of who Swedes want as Prime-minister after the 2018 election was published yesterday. 30% of the self-identified Conservative voters want the Neoliberal party-leader as Prime-Minister instead of the leader of the Conservative party. And so the division and collapse of the Conservatives kick into yet another gear higher. Because it is remarkable in Swedish politics that a party's own supporters prefer another party's leader in a way like this.

The current PM, Socialdemocrat Stefan Löfven, is the favourite when all groups got combined together followed by the Neoliberal leader, then the Nationalist leader and in 4th place the Conservative leader.

Well, they are voting for the party rather than the leader, so it makes sense.

That is true, but the majority usually support the leader of their preferred party since the leader is the highest responsible person for the party and its politics.

They don't want Batra to be leader?

They want Lööf as statsminister instead of Kinberg Batra.
