I've been watching a lot of wrestling lately, and because I kind of grew up on here discussing wrassling with people like Extha and FFD I wanted to predict it here, so here I am.

Let's go in order that I found on a website.

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

So I see a lot of people saying that Strowman is going to win this, but I don't see what it gives him and it isn't interesting to me. So I am going to go with the 2% chance of Zayn (I realize it is a bit bigger than that) because I think (or hope) they are going to give him a good push right into a CERTAIN FEUD and this will give him some credibility going into it since he has been roughed up a bit lately. Strowman can go monster it up without this, I figure.

Winner: Sami Zayn

I know, not the boldest prediction.

Next up: Cruiserweight match.

Cruiserweight Championship

So my heart wants to go Austin Aries, because I really like him, but Neville is on a tear right now and I think this is a good BEGINNING of the feud, not where the title changes hands. I think Aries is going to have to work (and probably be screwed over once or twice) before he eventually wins the feud since I think the whole storyline ends with him with the title. Not this night though, it is too early. Also on a random side note I hadn't seen too many Neville matches before the last 4-5 months, but good lord is he awesome.

Winner: Neville

Smackdown women's championship

So...Naomi was meant to just keep the title and win a match here without the injury I figure, home town and all that, so she's probably going to win it here. Which makes me sad mostly because I think Alexa Bliss is an adorably evil champion and I could watch her cut promos all day with the belt on her shoulder. I've always had a thing for a good villain, and she is just so smug and has a great face for a nasty smirk. But yeah, I think Naomi is going to pin random person # 3 here and her and Alexa get to have a nice post mania feud for a bit over the title.

Winner: Naomi

Raw Tag Team Championship match

So am I the only one thinking this was made a ladder match so the Hardys could return at Mania, Jeff hits a swanton bomb on someone, and everyone marks the fuck out? I don't know if this is an original thought or not, but I haven't seen it anywhere that I go for wrestling talk, so yeah, I say that happens. Also that Cesaro/Seamus win the belts because why the ever living fuck not.

Intercontinental Championship

So this has some amount of intrigue behind it. I could see this going either way since Corbin has been booked so strong but Ambrose is pretty clearly liked in the company. It was observed that Ambrose really hasn't done much with the title, and that's true. I think.. it makes sense for Corbin to beat the belt at mania even if he loses the feud overall, puts him over in a major way and he'd be good for the belt. Don't see anything developing with a Dean win here, with how little he likes to defend the damn thing.

Winner: Baron Corbin.

I thought about it, but between buying a new computer and saving up for a couple of trips I decided not to go. Just the tickets would have been fine but I know I wouldn't have been able to resist that sweet, sweet merch.

Well we're finalizing plane tickets sometimes in the next week or so. I'll let you know our tentative schedule once that's done. It would probably be on one of the later days of the trip if we're able to schedule a day for down time unless you were going to spend a day in one of the parks with us. But I'd have to bring that up with her first as well of course.

And dammit ermine, I was excited :/

Raw Women's championship


Boy has women's wrestling come a long way in the WWE. I absolutely love Bayley, mostly because I am a big fan of hugs and her gimmick is she will hug you and then beat the ever living hell out of you, that is quality. It seems pretty obvious to me though if they wanted Bayley to walk out of WM with the belt she would have won it at the event to have a crowning moment on the biggest stage, and if they wanted Charlotte to do so her PPV streak would have been in tact. Nia Jax could win randomly, in the match for a reason etc, but I've got my money (not really) on Sasha Banks. I don't think we'll see a full heel turn tonight, but she's probably going to blind side Bayley at some point. Business is business after all. I also love the Boss, so I won't cry over this one.

John Cena & Nikki Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse

They set up John Cena for failure on the go home show talking about how this won't be the fight of his life and how he is going to crush him. The Miz has been awesome (...) lately and I thought this was an easy John Cena win before he got arrogant about it. It won't be the world's BIGGEST SURPRISE Team Cena (sure why not) wins because it is Cena, but with him going away and the Miz being on absolute fucking fire let's pretend the WWE knows how to book for a moment. Also I can see Miz and Cena fighting outside, looking surprisingly even, and Nikki just beating the hell out of Maryse to protect the Miz and preserve the happy moment. Actually... I change my mind that's what is going to happen.

Winner: Nikki Bella

That makes sense, Miz doesn't have to look bad in defeat and eat a pinfall here when he has the good ole wife to do it for him.

Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles

I think AJ wins this with Shane "surprisingly" pushing him to a place he doesn't expect to have to go, effectively turning him face because he learns new found respect for Shane and also someone actually charismatic has to fill in the Cena sized hole coming soon (Sorry Randy, just stick to RKOing everything.)

Also because he is AJ fucking Styles.

Triple H vs. Seth Rollins

This ends with HHH being pedigreed and him officially passing the torch to Seth Rollins, right? That's kind of how this has to go down,I think. With the redemption promo Seth gave this week (which was awesome) they have done a good job of rewriting history with how he was with the authority for so long, making him recognize it and learn from it. He's going to beat HHH, the pop will be absolutely huge, and then stuff happens I guess. Burying jokes aside HHH loves putting people over these days and Seth is his boy.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Undertaker vs Roman Reigns

I don't think this is Taker's last mania match, so I think he beats Roman. They, apparently, want Roman to go over Brock next year for the title and in order to do that Roman needs this heat off of him a bit I think, despite the fact that he is # 1 in merch sales. That last fact means he probably isn't turning heel either. I think they need to come up with something good for him where he won't lose a lot of his strength but also not turn him heel. I don't know, maybe they just won't care and plow ahead with the idea. I say no, though.
