Then if there's an emergency or active shooter you have no means of communication. I don't see many people going for this, even if it's just for the fact that people can't record their night for social media attention.

Thats stupid as hell. Its not a concert. Is the idea that phones prevent people from talking to each other in a bar? I dont think that actually happens. Plus, you cant get someones number for a date without phones.

No, this sounds incredibly dumb. This isn't a concert, where phones can actually hurt other people's enjoyment.

Spoilers: If somebody would rather be on their phone than actually converse with you, the problem is you, not the phone.

Literally taking away somebody's ability to call for help/reach assistance to leave a situation in a literal bar is just... Crazy.

They're not, but they should also be able to freely enjoy a bar without, you know, having to give up literally their one lifeline to easy help/safety. There's a reason this is not a common thing.

I find it interesting how most of us (including myself) have been conditioned into thinking our phones are a safety device and emergency lifeline... that's necessary for just having a drink in a bar.

Imagine how unsafe people were before the invention of the mobile phone!

What if you were only allowed flip phones. Do modern ones have better technology? I used a dual slider that I thought kicked ass until at least 2014. It had a slide out mini tactile keyboard. Internet was garbage, but it was so great for text messages and just using it as well a traditional mobile device.

Which do you trust more? Also I have old pictures of the former. Just it's late and w/e I am the only person who used a slider well into the 2010s and was proud of it. Apparently the bottom that was a smartphone flip in 2020 for no reason.

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/7/74bfdd96.jpgHere's apparently a modern one in 2020. So stupid. Especially since there is still no real keyboard or nostalgia factor, maybe I am being too harsh but who wants a small flip phone smart phone.

Don't be dumb, this is my phone alt. My main is literally right in the sig. And you're not making any sense: They don't *have* to give up the phone, they *choose* to give up the phone. They are going there, as opposed to any other club, because of this quality.
