Insiders told TheWrap that Johnson showed up as much as eight hours late to set on the movie forcing the crew to shoot around him on some days. On previous films, Johnson has made a habit of peeing in a water bottle to save time, upsetting crew members.
On set, away from his trailer, if he needs to pee, he doesnt go to the public bathroom, said one insider who knows the movie star well. He pees in a Voss water bottle and his team or a PA has to dispose of it.

8 hours is legit crazy. A regular shoot day is 10-12 hours. How tf you gonna show up to work for 2 hours lol

And given that, I no longer find it so surprising that the Rock is backing Trump now. Trump's total lack of care for whether others live or die so long as he gets what he wants right now likely struck a chord with him.

My experience with unions and working long days is that you can't work 24 hours straight and there has to be at least 8 hours between shifts if you work overtime.

I'm not union so I could be wrong but I think IATSE put heavy penalties on productions that went over 14 hour shoots a few years ago. I think 10 hour turnaround is expected if not mandatory now. Again, could be wrong tho cuz I'm just a freelancer.
