My only issue really was just having to carry my trash everywhere. I mean, I got used to it to the point I carried a bag with me out. Took a day or so to realize that you just can't find trashcans anywhere. But it's understandable when a society actually cares to keep things nice, and how trash cans can just be carelessly overfilled. Oh, and for some reason, there were areas in both Osaka and Tokyo where it smelled like sewerage or something.
