Can you make the coastlines recede from global cooling?

Still so annoying how the civ selection is organized by leader name. So unhelpful

Nothing to do with Civilization but this reminds me of when I played Populous back in the day and my sure fire way of winning was having my worshippers build up high and then I would globally flood the world and kill all the other worshippers for the win. Playing god was fun.

I also really loved Civilization back in the day but yeah a much different game.

I think Civ 6 is ultimately a really fun game where I really dislike almost everything outside of the proper game mechanics. Leader selection, quotation selection, organization, art style are all meh to me. And modern era is a chore but that's true of V as well in different ways.

Doing a reskin of characters costs less money than adding a new model, which they would have to for Napoleon.

The reason Catherine (France) is in the game is because they wanted to switch up the usual leaders but still have a lot of women in the game. A lot of countries don't simply have famous or well known women so a lot of them are basically footnotes in history. Interestingly some of the well known women leaders aren't even in the game such as Catherine the Great (Russia) since she has already been in Civ games.

I think that even if they didn't want to go with the generally expected French leaders, Franois I would have been a much better choice than "Italian woman who was queen regent at one point"
