Its always been homemade (and I make it often) but I worked with a guy who is retired now who is the pickiest eater Ive ever known in my life. Seriously. And he liked very basic and plain food. Like burgers on buns with zero condiments, or like plain hamburger with noodles and no sauce. Plain plain plain. Anyway one of the few things I would ever see him eat from a fast food place was Wendys or Culvers chili. He loved it. It's hearty for the amount of calories but not too heavy, and it has a little bit of protein going on. I'm kind of a sucker for high "value" (what you get versus what you pay) options, and their chili is pretty far up there.
