Here is the real solution you guys are looking for:

Multiple Discord servers.

There's already two. One seems more legit than the other. But you might as well just join them all and stick with which ever you like best.

Weavile keeps talking about Thread Zone and "being similar to GameFAQs" because he's still pushing the failed concept of having a single monolithic location for all users, with a single strict set of rules forced on all users.

Time has shown that it just doesn't work. The solution is to have multiple platforms. Multiple servers. Some servers can be more strict and heavily moderated than others. Some can be exclusive and some private. And users can make and share them at will.

Despite the LUELinks mods' perpetual meltys over it, it's been proven to work and it's been wildly successful for the community. By letting users self-segregate into different servers, the users who want a chill zone can stick to the more heavily moderated servers, and the users who want more freedom can migrate to less moderated servers. In this way you get a safer environment for cray users and a better environment for chill users.

Thread Zone is a good idea but it will never succeed because it's still founded on the idea that all users must fit into one code of conduct, one set of rules , and because all zones still have the umbilical cord back to Tiko and whatever he decides to tolerate or not tolerate or whoever he delegates to.

CE has the opportunity to shape itself the way it's users see fit, and to build their own spaces and set their own boundaries. It's time to grow up from begging "mods" to give you permission to post on their forum. Build the community you want to have for yourselves.

Why don't you ask them why they're pushing you to Thread Zone instead of inviting you to their main site, blue websight.

It's because they want to corral you, and convince you to use the community they bestowed upon you, instead of letting you get the idea that you can make your own

None of the people suggesting thread zone even post on it themselves, they all post on Discord

It's run by the LUELinks mod crew and their orbiters who just got off a weeks long ban spree against Discord users. Even going as far as to try setting up fake discord servers to entrap and ban their own users for posting on discord without permission. Yes you read that right, they will ban you for using discord without the mod's permission.

Feel free to join but you should be aware that the mod crew that destroyed LUELinks / ETI / blue websight is the same one running Thread Zone. Looking for more users to try to control and harass. It's a shame too because the site itself is cool but the mods are all power hungry and bloodthirsty.

Your best bet is Discord. Where you can make your own server and have far greater autonomy.

i dunno but i think i have noticed more warnings lately than usual. perhaps warnings that might have been suspensions before? maybe. i was thinking they might be being a tad more lenient now that a purg is basically exile from CE.

Was it? People were saying it belonged to Humble since it showed up the same time he brought two other (closed) 50 karma alts. But if it was acting like one of the usual suspects, than perhaps that was kut coincidence.

You sure about that? Almost every right-wing user has been driven out (not that I care), all political discussion is banned. Closing off CE to all new users. Someone getting extremely offended over something and other users jumping in. ect ect ect. That's exactly like Resetera.
