starting tomorrow. football is 5 months away and still no Madden announcement

LMFAO @ caring about sports games.

I'm not worried for two reasons:

1. It's Madden. They're gonna release one.
2. It's Madden. Even if they don't, who the hell cares?

Not even on my radar until it's under $25. Will sink a ton of hours in franchise and CFB dynasty when they're both available.

Here is a bold prediction:

The next Madden will be practically the same as the last version with a new roster and a lot of glitches. It will also sell a lot because people will keep buying it.

Besides, it's fucking Madden. The only things that'll stop EA from releasing a new one are either the NFL pulling the license (which is ludicrously unlikely at best), or EA and/or the NFL just ceasing to exist altogether for whatever reason (such as going bankrupt, being forcibly dissolved by the government, the apocalypse, etc.; again, ludicrously unlikely at best).

It is the same game every year. But I do want to know what they will call it since, there is already a Madden 25.

My friends still boot up the ps3 one from time to time and we always have a fucking riot with that game

The last Madden game I played was 13 (previous before that was Madden 08). I was so disappointed in it that for the first time in my life, I traded it and some other games to GameStop to get the Injustice game. First and last time I ever traded games away lol.

NCAA football is coming out this year or next, so who cares about Madden. Also, Pokemon is the same every time.

They can't just leave us hanging after the last one ended on a cliffhanger.

In a perfect world they've abandoned Madden and are putting most of their resources to the new NCAA game but never fear it's EA madden is going to suck like usual and I'd be shocked if NCAA isn't also bad.

Madden only exists for streamers to pour money into its micro transactions. Its a horrible engine with a terrible franchise mode.

It's not, it's noticeably behind 20 year old ESPN NFL 2k5 in several aspects

I have Madden 23 and that'll probably be all I need until they make some massive franchise mode changes. I'm like 6 seasons in and when I get the urge to play Madden I just boot up the old game instead of buying the new $70 one that is barely different.

I am interested in knowing if the NCAA games will do draft crossover with Madden, I will buy that Madden if so.

Yup. That halftime show that everyone skipped. The house you could put a foosball table in and banners up. Tackles sounding like crumpling paper. Games taking 2 hours because every 5 seconds theres a 30 second replay.

My experience with American Football in videogames is limited to the minigames in the SNES Tiny Toons and Astrix games. I will just assume those are realistic portrayals of the sport.

The presentation is what I say I want, but I don't. Obviously the game announcer commentary can't be shit, but yeah I will skip over the pregame and halftime stuff. Or in the 2k NCAA basketball games I skipped the selection sunday most of the time even if it was detailed and a great touch.
