I've also used the old kind of optical mouse that required a special pad with blue and red lines (90 apart).

I used to love that type of mouse, but the last several times I've tried one they weren't very accurate. Been using laser/optical mice for years now with my only issue being the left click wearing out (the plastic formed to the little metal button, so it did always click.)

Probably I remember I bought a Gateway computer around then or like 2009. Frick if I recall exactly and it still had a ball mouse. Had to clean that sucker every so often when the mouse stopped responding.

I was still using a computer monitor still in like 2012 I think. I'll have to access my YouTube. Good ol' VGA connection.

Only the kind with the ball on top that you use your hands to move, which is what I use. The ones with the ball on the bottom that work by moving the mouse as a whole around, I haven't even so much as seen since, I think, the late '90s.
