Well, when you try to use that opinion as a supporting fact for an argument, it's no longer just an opinion.

Because "abusers" is dog whistle language and isn't about people actually abusing the system.

I don't see a problem with a small, reasonable charge, as long as no one is refused service for being unable to pay it and there's a system to waive it for those who can't afford it. Someone who can barely afford food shouldn't have to pay for healthcare too, but I don't see any issue with well-off people having to make a small contribution.

I actually do know people living in South Korea. One of them said there was a huge strike by doctors because of overworking and pay a month ago, and that led to over 50% of appointments cancelled. It actually impacted her directly because she had some pancrea surgery scheduled that had to be rescheduled, and now its a shot in the dark when she can get that rescheduled. She noted the healthcare in SK is in turmoil, but is hopeful it will get back to normal.

Considering you seem to be unwilling to accept external inputs that conflict with your opinion, and arent basing yours on anything other than your experience which is a drop in the ocean compared to the actual real data we have, its no wonder you think Im unpleasant to be around. I have no fucks to give with people like you, your intentional ignorance shouldnt be tolerated, and your opinions that would actively hurt society if they were implemented (and we have proof of that since your proposal is literall what the US healthcare system is) should be scorned and rejected.

While true that Im being anecdotal, so is everyone here thats really mad at me for some reason for voicing my opinion. Not a single person showed any proof of anything theyre saying, and is just anecdotal as well, as if you all just live in an echo chamber.
