My kids who I was starting to see a lot more often after winning some ridiculous custody battle with my ex-wife 2. I started dating my now wife at the time and we just spent a lot of time hanging out at my apartment and going on hikes 3. One guy friend who had been isolating quite a bit as well, and I would go to his place and stay over and we would drink whiskey and listen to vinyl all night Plus the roads and the stores were so much more empty. archizzy 03/23/24 5:30:17 PM #46:	Personally my life was barely altered during Covid. All I do is work and come home and spend my time at home. I never spend time with people anyway. So I was still doing this. Sure there was a little less traffic out on the roads but I already live in a sparsely populated area of the Midwest in the middle of cornfields and soybean fields with farms all around and just some highway driving. So that aspect wasn't much different. Once a week I would go to the grocery store and sure I had slip on a mask but my days off are Monday and Tuesday so I always do my shopping on a Monday around Noon. Again I live in a low population area of the Midwest. The 'big" city I go to for grocery shopping is a town of 13,000 people. So it is always almost empty anyway except the employees and a few retired people or stay at home spouses doing a little shopping. So other than wearing a mask for grocery shopping my life was exactly the same. Not much changed. When I'm not at work I'm at home playing games, reading, listening to music, watching tv/movies, and just spending time on my property which I like.
