If you choose to play your opponent will be randomly selected from the player list. They will be dealt 2 cards and the flop, run and river will be flipped. If they win you die, if you win they die. If you havent played at least one game before MYLO/LYLO you will die.

Shortly after the day ended, I was told I was not feeling well. My assumption is I was day-poisoned, but I can't rule out that IGCD, who lives an hour away, saw my improv show and thought, wow, Lea is dying, a decreipt husk of a corpse, I wonder if she is aware, I should tell her.

I rather enjoyed that game of Dead Man's Hand, Scare. It was great giving you a taste of the Doyle Brunson Special. :P

And now I know it was indeed scum who challenged me to that duel. Good to know!

Scare's PM says it targets a random player. You could argue that he wouldn't choose to play a scummate, but I dunno, could be a pretty tempting gambit if you're a Scare who doesn't give a fudge about mafia anymore.

I was literally challenged to a game of Dead Man's Hand. I didn't know who did it - and figured it had to be scum - until the flip. I drew a Brunson Special (ten-deuce, for you non-poker people), and as Scare's flavor indicated... I won with a runner runner backdoor flush. Hearts.

I don't buy Scare risks his life to kill you when he had an A-7 and you had 10-2. There's also nothing to indicate the victim knows they're being targeted

I was not told I was targeted until the hand had been played. I do not believe he would have known what my cards were, only his own - which had the Ace of Spades.

And Lopen, just between us, I want to assure you that I am town yet again, and that I know. That is all.

I do hope this message doesn't confuse anyone else, but all will be revealed in time.

While I agree with the latter observation, Scare chooses to play his hand before even getting an opponent. I guess that means he couldn't choose not to play a scum mate actually.

I just wanted to get that out there quickly so people knew what happened with Scare, and didn't start throwing around theories that were untrue. That's a waste of time.

I think Scare doing nothing but vote Kirby is a decent look for Kirby, but I thought Kirby's whole deal was to leave his vote on Mzero for mystic reasons but then he jumped to BCT

After the aliens misled me down a dangerous path I have reformed and turned away from their lies.

Over night however I was contacted by a secret government agency and told if I follow their ideas to the letter that scum are sure to falter. Sounds legit.

Yeah, if scares ability could randomly target a scummate then it doesn't affect BCT's chance of being town at all.

If we're just taking the flip at fact value it just says that it's random.
