Neither of those are particularly right or left wing viewpoints. You regularly have people on both the left and right cancel people and reject art due to who the artist is.

Gwynevere posted...
I'm not gonna pretend people on the left don't participate in cancel culture, but that's definitely not exclusive to the left. Look at how conservatives reacted to bud light featuring a trans person, or the satanic panic of the 80s, stuff like that
Fair points, I just know I've had friends lay into me when like, a song by a (legitimately) shitty-as-a-person artist pops up on one of my playlists and stuff like that, or refuse to watch Baby Driver becaus Kevin Spacey is in it, and I'm just like, come on. Yeah, they're shitty people, but Baby Driver's still a good movie. >_>

Guess that still doesn't make it an inherently political stance though. Pretty much all of my friends are liberal, so I guess I just kinda made that association.

The only thing I could think of is the death penalty, however even that wasn't far right because I wanted for more stringent standards than right-wingers want for executing someone.

And even though a part of me still believes in that, ultimately I have sided against it due to innocent people who are executed.

Amazing that you could actually type out "pro-life" and "pro-capital-punishment" literally word to word without seeing the disconnect.

You're not pro-life, your pro-forced birth or pro-fetus, just like many other right-wingers (not saying you're a right-winger, however this is the company you keep with on these hypocritical views) who want children to suffer after they out of the womb, support wars, and support the state executing people.

Not everyone here is necessarily a centrist/leftist, some people are actually right-wingers. A right-winger can have a viewpoint that they view as their "furthest right", in this case it's the belief that women should not be allowed to vote.

There are right-wingers seeking office who have literally said this. Mark Robinson in North Carolina and John Gibbs in Michigan are 2 examples.

If they feel confident enough to say it as candidates seeking office it's because they feel like enough of their base will support such notions. After all, the GOP's sole MO these days is seeking approval of their base and trying to out fascist other Republican candidates in order to be seen as the most favorable candidate to their base.

Well you're 3/9 on traditional "right-wing views", so it should be pretty obvious where you land.

However, I will also say that a lot of those left-leaning views you hold aren't inherently Dem either because that party can be really disappointing at times when it comes to doing the right thing. Quite a few of your views are further left than the Dem party itself is.

Ok, you've got to explain how you actually like Trump more than Biden, because that's straight-up illogical. Especially since you also liked Obama, and Trump is the anti-Obama. Like, the dude literally considered himself that and made it his mission to undo everything Obama did.

It's not, especially not with the harm Trump did to the country, its institutions, faith in elections, faith in facts & reality and the further damage he promises to do if he gets back in the White House.

However, I do appreciate your honesty so I'm not going to lambaste you for it.

I'll grant you that a clown is more entertaining than someone who takes governing seriously, however the Office of POTUS is not meant to be the main attraction of a circus. Biden may be boring, however that's because he's actually doing and has done great things for Americans due to taking the Office seriously.

I understand why you think that's a right-wing view, however many leftists actually hold this view because it's the most logical defense against right-wingers with guns.

I see the logic behind it, however due to my own personal stance on guns I don't agree with the desire to own in general, though I do see their logic. More Dems/leftists/progressives/liberals own guns than a lot of people on the right think because they don't make it a core aspect of their identity and talk about it every opportunity they get.

Id say the death penalty. While yes we need some hardcore regulations on that shit because god knows how many innocent lives have been lost because of it but I will not shed a tear for those who legitimately have been that much of a danger to people or have gotten away with killings to the degree they have gotten before being arrested.

Ive done a few voting tests and policy checkers and its basically only a single migration point. The two most leftist parties here share my concerns with how migration is handled and how we should make sure migration isnt needed as much, but they dont want a temporary migration stop or funnel until those things are fixed and with how things are now with housing, fair spread of migrants in the country, weird nitrogen laws, issues with construction of housing in an already overpopulated country, violence in the asylum centers between different groups of migrants and companies who keep fighting for shittier rules and wages for migrant workers thats just not possible. The weird thing is that letting migrants come in with no end in sight is a leftist stance here, while the reasons for those are almost exclusively right wing. We got people like Wilders screaming about a total stop, but the big wigs wont agree when certain sectors like most of the flower business and nursing are a total scam and relies on slavery and human trafficking.

We could solve half the issues above tomorrow but we wont because were the most bureaucratic country in the world and the government itself hates non-whites openly (dont look up the childcare benefits scandal if you want to sleep well tonight) so they dont care about actually fixing issues for them.

Regardless of their reasoning for deciding against it, that is the reason they don't have it; because they didn't vote to have it. That's literally the only reason it exists in the rest of the nation.

It's just bullshit created during WWI to preserve oil (which public lamps used back then for lighting) so more could be used for the war effort.

Well that's fair, I appreciate the honesty.

Also, the plan they voted for recently in Congress would have made the time setting with the extra hour of sunlight the permanent time, so you would have been satisfied with that because you still get what you want, only on a permanent basis.

I know exactly what they are, telephone pole sized metal rods deployed in satellites that utilize kinetic energy instead of explosives. It is not a complicated system to implement, and is not illegal by any international convention or treaty. The only thing stopping us from acknowledging that we possess them, if we actually do that is, is that it would establish a precedent for other nations to develop them.
Edit: tungsten does not emit ionizing radiation, and therefore is conventional.
