I will say I hate how men's formal fashion is mostly locked into one basic look with only a few deviations that still use it as a basis. Women get to wear all sorts of different dresses and even suits if they desire. The fact that "male privilege" is brought up is irrelevant as that isn't where the assumption on gender happens. The comparable sentence would be "Male privilege is wearing the same outfit multiple times to events while girls can't wear the same dress twice without having other girls comment on it no matter how cute it is."
