I've never really liked Terrance Howard (he's the bad guy from big mommas house) but I can't really see fault with this. If I was a slave instead of a slave owner I would definitely be pretty pissed that I'm asked for taxes when for centuries they didn't even pay for labor, let alone taxes.

He is pretty selfish then.

How does someone refuse to pay tax in the first place? Every job Ive had, the tax is taken out automatically before it reaches my bank account I dont even have the agency to refuse.

Gonna assume it works differently for business owners though.

Why the twenty questions? I wasnt implying anything last I checked.

Never mind, I realize I said something potentially political without realizing the full ramifications, so thats on me.

This logic isn't that far off of sovereign citizen logic. More importantly though, he's rich and just doesn't want to pay taxes.

He has a better case for it than most of these libertarian sovereign citizen clowns citing out of context passages from obscure and obsolete legal documents to claim the United States is a corporation and not a nation state.

I disagree and I believe he should pay his taxes, especially since he is clearly a wealthy and successful actor, but I said it was a better argument, not a GOOD argument.

It did not work for Wesley Snipes, it sure as hell wont work for him, when he gets thrown in jail he will have wished he just paid the little money he owed. I also say little because he makes a lot more then the amount he owes.

....I don't understand how in this day and age anyone can claim anything like that. It's terrible that it once happened, but that was nearly 100 years ago, long before he was even born. If his grandmother had experienced that, and she was still alive then she might have claim to it. But not him.
