When I was in HS I had to go to Juvenile Court for a 3rd degree assault charge I got over a fight I got into in HS. I went into the Judge's chambers, explained the situation that led to the fight, she saw that I had no crime on my record and gave me probation.

Twice for a speeding ticket when I was in college, and have been summoned several times for jury duty. I served on 2 juries, the first was just a traffic accident that got settled before we actually had to do anything, and the other was a federal/IRS criminal tax fraud case which took a whole month (guy was facing a 10+ year sentence).

When I was in my 20's the husband of a woman I was sleeping with set up a trap to jump me, hit me in the back of the head three times with a metal pipe and then broke my wrist twisting the pipe around trying to keep me from taking it from it. The woman refused to testify against him so everything was dismissed.

Went once as a witness in a shoplifting case, but didn't end up testifying. Once as a juror in a civil case that settled on the morning of the third day, and have no idea what the terms of the settlement were. Also entered into a plea in abeyance for a car accident I was in, but just had to go to the clerk for it.

Are we talking strictly at trials? If so, three (once as a prospective juror and twice as co-counsel for two separate cases).

Otherwise it's a lot of appearances for hearings.

Called up for jury duty once but was dismissed instead of being seated.

I also worked for 2 years as a case manager for CPS so I'd write reports to the court and appear in most hearings at the juvenile court for the cases assigned to me, and would testify on behalf of the state for the few cases that went to trial.

I got summoned for jury duty but wasn't actually picked for the jury. Also once went when a friend was in court for drink driving. He didn't actually do it; situation was that his partner (who was sober but had no licence) was sober driving him, and when they got pulled up, they for some reason thought having a drunk driver would look better than having an unlicenced driver so they switched seats. Of course at that point, they couldn't prove anything even though his lawyer almost certianly told him that was an utterly stupid move, so he got done for drink-driving.

Got jury duty twice, though on only one of those occasions did I end up actually being called into the actual jury. Even then, it turned out the trial ended up not happening (I'm guessing the defendant took a plea bargain at the last minute or something), so instead, the judge gave us all a speech about drugs and sent us back home.

I have court next month for a bullshit possession and weapons charge. The pig even said he doesn't care about the weed, but having the gun "was really upsetting" (gun was bought legally and registers to me and I hold a CCA permit). The only reason he charged me with the possession was because without it there wasn't a weapons charge. Gotta feed the city coffers to keep them paid and be able to buy more military equipment

Ive attended one court hearing as a witness. When I was in high school, one of my friends t-boned another friends car. There were some moderate injuries but nothing too serious. What sucked is I had to testify against one friend on behalf of another. It wasnt fun.

Called for jury duty, but not selected.
Witness against a roommate who stole stuff from me. He plead guilty and I wasn't needed after all.
Traffic court for not having valid proof of insurance on me at the time. Showed I was covered at the time and it was dismissed.
Credit Card company took me to court for not being able to make the payments they wanted. Jokes on them though. Judgement was to garnish my wages, and I didn't make enough for them to take anything from me. Suddenly, they wanted to work out a repayment plan, but I thought "nah, I'll just abide by the court decision".
