Traffic- Some major wins here where the cops dont really show up for tickets, though one time a L when like 30 people were dismissed but the cop showed up for mine and like 2 other peoples tickets, sucks, got the tryhard cop. Also one time out of like 20 poeople expected for tickets, I was the only person that showed up once even the cops didnt show, during covid, got dismissed ofcourse.)

Crime- Stealing and lying to the cops about my name at 13. Got childhood probation. Basically just like a therapy session almost, show up every two weeks talk to the probation officer about life.

I used to be a public defender, so I spent five years being in court almost every day. I am still an attorney 15 years later, and in my current practice I am in court about four times a month (I do more admin hearings now).

I also keep getting called for jury duty and getting dismissed out of hand because I am a lawyer. Last time was a few months ago, and the prosecutor for the case was a friend from law school. He saw me come in and laughed and shook his head. But I keep getting called.

Unless you are involved directly in the case, being in court every day is not nearly as exciting as it looks on TV. 95 percent of the time it is downright tedious.

Once a racist idiot decided to randomly threaten me in broad daylight with his belt and push me into traffic in spite of my warnings for him to fuck off, so I beat his head in and he dropped like a sack of potatoes. Went to the police station with a witness who drove past and they asked me if I want to press charges. I declined since I beat him up real bad, and honestly he deserved it.
