gamepimp12 02/24/24 2:23:47 AM #1:	Apparently he left really basic and rudimentary cheating software running in the background from a single player game he was playing when he went to boot up destiny. By all accounts he never actually cheated just had the software running. triggered a perms ban. which is 100% the rules but geez it sucks to get banned like that. --- we rich now but used to be slaves,we pushing whips now we used to be whipped,rockin chains when we used to be in 'em <cite>gamepimp12 posted [p:979013481] in One of des... All they could probably see is that a cheating software was running at the same time as Destiny was running. And you can't exactly take a suspected cheater's word for it when they say "I totally wasn't cheating, it was just running in the background" for obvious reasons. It's basically a version of CheatEngine, which would be just about the worst possible cheating software for a game as dynamic and complex as Destiny. And it's also not designed in any way to be stealthy, so even the most rudimentary anti-cheat would pick it up immediately. I believe the guy when he says it was a mistake. I don't think he was using it to cheat in Destiny. With Security management, there is a lot of times that you have to punish people who didn't follow the protocol . It's only if they detect them being hooked to the process that they break out the hammer. It looked pretty cool to but eventually they banned him for cheating.
