True story, at a convention Marina Sirtis called the director Stuart Baird an "idiot" and she got a STANDING OVATION from the audience! Stuart Baird didn't direct anything else after Nemesis. Did you know that that there was plans for a fifth movie that would have wrapped up the 24th Century but after the utter shitness that was Insurrection and Nemesis a thoroughly pissed of Paramount told them what they could go do with it! Even if Frakes had directed it there wasn't much he could have done with it as it was just a really bad script to begin with. Tom Hardy refuses to this day to ever talk about it. I haven't seen that utter disaster since I saw it in the cinema and if I hadn't of been there with my parents I would have walked out. I totally agree with the TC that First Contact is not only the greatest Star Trek movie made but one of the greatest Sci-Fi movies ever made.
