Biden seems to just have a deep, personal, seething hatred of Trump. Any debate between them would be interesting Biden truly believed he could work with Republicans, he had done so his whole life. Many of the republicans he use to work with started turning on him around the time Trump came to office. He likely blames Trump for lose of friendships, as well as changing our political system in ways Biden couldn't imagine.
