Israel built a bunker down there in 1983 as well as the tunnel system. They expanded and added onto it in 1990 as well.

Yeah. I mean, the group think part is more of a joke at how there is no acceptable discussion within some parts of the left on the Israel issue.

But, there is a real question here. Look at the title of this thread and so many of the initial responses. They seem to suggest that a large number of people do not think the tunnels are real and its all propaganda. Then your post about the reality of the situation seems also to be acceptable. Not sure how those two things can work together. That is really what I was asking about.

They knew that the civilians would pay for their crime. They don't care. That's the problem. Most people dying in Gaza are civilians who had nothing to do with the terrorist attack on October 7th

Careful. This tweet does not explicitly say "Hamas isn't under the hospital". If you look closely at the text, it's stating that the evidence the IDF showed yesterday did not show an HQ or signs of tunnels, and that the IDF isn't scheduled to show more evidence of whatever they found at this time.

I don't think Hamas is under there, but we have to wait before calling this one.

So they just need more time to manufacture evidence

So Israel built bunkers and evacuation tunnels under the hospitals in the 80s, Hamas thought that it was a safe place to store their hostages because they thought Israel wouldnt bomb hospitals, and Israel used it is "proof" that Hamas got big command centers under hospitals and miles of miles of tunnels under Gaza.
